Single Place Folded width is 7′ 6″ so any standard and inexpensive flat bed trailer can transport your Hart Bird 1!

You can now share a hangar quite easy because of it’s small footprint!

Super strong 4130 steel tube main fuselage, tail, aluminum tube wings with wood ribs.

A very wide range of inexpensive engines up to 100lbs can be used.

The average builder can be flying in well UNDER 100 hours of assembly and paint work!

A variety of engines may be used.  Recommended is Rotax 277, 337, 447, Kawasaki 340, Hirth F-33, CRE MZ-34 or MZ-201, Little Twin 4-stroke,  Half VW.   Engines up to 100 lbs may be used to comply with FAR 103 Ultralight category.
